If you’re like me, and appreciate a different finish every once in a while, then this polish is for you. I personally love taupes/ browns, so OPI You Dont Know Jacques Matte fit that bill. Although, I’m not a HUGE fan of mattes, I am a huge fan of how fast they dry, and this was no exception. I used three coats to achieve the finish I wanted, and then I got really bored with the look of the polish after a day of wear, so I slapped a coat of Nubar Hologram glitter on top (YAY for layering polishes). It sort of looks like a hot mess, but I only kept it on for a day or so. I need to get some more OPI mattes…. they’re starting to grow on me. Sorry for the lack of posts these past few days, I’ll try to get back into the swing of things slowly. Being sick is no fun, and it sucks even more because I have an event I need to attend tomorrow. =[ I hope you are all staying dry, warm, and healthy!

wow i didn't know nailpolish had matte finishes! that's crazy! and pretty cool how you added a different polish and made it totally different!
YEAAAA although I have to say I prefer the matte nail polish look to the matte car look. Actually… some matte cars look super cool.. but I guess that just sort of happens once your car has lots of zeroes on the end of it's price tag. =/
how do your nails/cuticles look so flawless?! my cuticles are always sloppy with polish when I get done!
awww mine do too! honestly, it's a LOT of practice! I still get messy nails and cuticles if I'm not careful. I tend to blame the formula of the polish when over flooding happens =p
Where can I buy the matte finishes. I found this exact color only it was regular and said nothing about matte
You can usually find them at the same place. Not sure if you can get the matte anymore
