GOOOODDD morning. UGH. That’s how I felt this morning. I never knew that house buying/ fixing was so stressful! Anyway, this polish is anything but UGH. SO absolutely gorgeous. I haven’t bought any Essie polishes in a while because I felt like nothing really caught my eye, but MAN when I saw this and the subtle almost copper shimmer that runs through it, I was sold like a pair of Louboutins on clearance. Wow, I can’t believe I just made that reference. I used two coats and formula was perfect. In other random news, there’s this new show on TV called Shipping Wars. WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAa that’s literally the sound byte that runs through my head when I watch that show. It’s so fun to watch but the things they say are SO clearly scripted you can tell they failed acting class. So that makes TWO ridonculous shows that I now watch, Storage Wars, and Shipping Wars. Don’t judge me, as a disclaimer to regain my “coolness” factor I’ll say I still love Friends. HAHAHA

OK. Now. This color…I like it. A lot. But if I were to just see it in the bottle, I might pass. Now that I've seen this swatched, I might just keep my keep my eyes open for this one. As for your choice of television viewing…I've never seen either of those so I'll give you a pass (for now). LOL

I passed this one up on the picked over Essie display this past weekend at my Rite Aide. I could only barely see the micro shimmer in it and have learned that often with Essie if you barely see it in the bottle, you won't see it on the nail but maybe in really strong good lighting. I also passed on the teal that many seem to be talking about – I have a bunch of teals now. In fact the only one I came home with from that collection was the lilac and only because I picked up a Sally Hanson topper same trip that looked amazing over it when I took out my little piece of white paper and swatched a little….that SH shade is from the same collection (I think) as Diamonds and Glass Slippers and is called. "Asile Be There." It's a GREAT topper that pulls out hidden micro fleck in polishes – eager to use it on some of my mattes…come to think of it – it might look really good on this Essie you are reviewing here and make me feel like I want the shade!
AHHH I'v been overly obsessed with topper polishes. I bought Essie, Pure Pearlfection and As Gold As It Gets. HAHA And two Nubar toppers as well. I thought the shimmer in this one was pretty pronounced because I could see it reflecting the color in the bottle when I was in the store, so I grabbed it. =D
Just bought this polish yesterday. I got suckered in by the copper glow as well. I need to try it out now!
