Good morning! I hope you all had restful weekends! Today I have OPI Catherine the Grape. A polish I never thought I’d own! I can see why this is a HTF (hard to find) polish. It’s a super pretty dusty purple with a pink shimmer. I love polishes like this! I only used two coats for the swatch. So anyone still eating Thanksgiving leftovers? I am. I love Thanksgiving leftovers, and I’ve pretty much had leftovers for every single meal since Thursday lunch. So in other random news, I’m inching my way towards the end of school with a whopping 3 weeks left. I’m so nervous about what is to come, I can’t even begin to put it in words. The job market is pretty awful right now, so I’m really praying that I can land a job. *sigh* Big people problems. I wish I was 5 again, and the biggest problem I had was going to bed by 8. =[

OPI DS Passion

HAPPY MONDAY. Or Happy unhappy Monday. Whichever way you look at it. Today I have OPI DS Passion to share with you all today! YAY! I never thought I’d own this pretty, but man I hit the DS jackpot when I went into some beauty supply store, somewhere. I don’t remember the name of the place. BOO on me. I should’ve wrote it down. Anyway, OPI DS Passion is a linear medium pink holo. I am in absolute LOVE with this polish. Actually, I’m very “mama bear” like with all my DS polishes. I needed two coats of this one for this swatch. So in more random news, there’s a guy in my class that came completely decked out in USC gear, and even had a USC tattoo on his arm. Another classmate of mine asked him, “Hey, you go to USC?!” and the guy replied, “no, I just really like the school.” Alright, let’s rewind here a bit. I’m not going to lie, I like tattoos, I don’t have one of my own but I think some are meaningful and some are artfully done, and some people put a lot of thought behind their tattoos. I don’t know about you, but I looked at this kid with the USC tattoo, and thought, WOW. That’s literally all I thought. You don’t go to the school, you just like it a lot, so you got the school name tattooed on your entire arm?! I don’t know, anyone have any opinions on this? I just thought it was a tad bit silly, and this probably would have been a different case if this kid actually went to the university… any thoughts?

Happy Sunday! Actually, happy RIDICULOUSLY HOT Sunday. Ugh. I thought I was going to pass out at church from the heat. Anyway today’s post will be super sweet and straight to the point. I have to read 65 pages and go through some practice questions before my exam tomorrow. EEK! This is what I get for procrastinating =[ OPI Just Spotted The Lizard is supposedly a Chanel Peridot dupe, though I haven’t personally done a side by side comparison. This is a greenish gold brown metallic multichrome polish. I used two coats for the swatch. Bam. Super short! Wish me luck with studying!!!

OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls

Happy Monday afternoon! I just got back from class, and I’m SO drained. I have to do a patient report by tomorrow and I don’t really want to start just yet. So today I have OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls from the Spiderman collection. Fortunately, or unfortunately, my boyfriend does NOT scale walls, though I’m undecided if scaling walls is a cool thing or not. I always imagine scenes from The Exorcism of Emily Rose (isn’t that the one where the girl scales walls and her head spins around? ugh.) Anyway, this is a lovely dull white creme that isn’t stark white. Great description huh? It’s not eye blinding white. I guess the perfect description would be hard boiled egg white. HAHA. I used two coats, and I honestly think this was my second favorite polish out of the Spiderman collection. Shocking huh? So since we’re kinda sorta on the topic of superheroes, I’m just going to throw this question out there, Would you rather be Harry Potter or Bruce Wayne. Wizard or Batman? I don’t know… tough question.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all getting your R&R from the week! I know I’m not. =[ BOO. I felt really bad about showing a crappy swatch yesterday, so hopefully another post and another picture of a pretty polish will somehow lead to forgiveness. I have OPI Number One Nemesis from the Spiderman collection. I did not watch the movie (the new one) at least, but we all know not everyone is Spidermans biggest fan. I needed three coats for this swatch. The color looks a lot more opaque in the bottle but on the nail it was a tad bit sheerer than I had anticipated. No matter, 3 quick drying coats. This is a pretty greenish gold silvery foilesque polish. How’s that for a description! It’s one of those color shifters and man, it is so pretty in the sun! I’ve heard this is a duper for Chanel Graphite, but I don’t know firsthand since I don’t own the Chanel. So in more random news, I need to take a PE class to get my degree (REALLY STUPID), but I decided to suck it up and take the plunge with a swimming class. Mind you, I used to swim competitively 10 years ago, and I haven’t been back in the pool since. I’m out of shape, lazy, and my technique sucks. This is going to be an incredibly LONG semester….
