China Glaze Blue Hawaiian

China Glaze Blue Hawaiian

Happy Tuesday! Today is actually my Sunday so it’s going to be a nice lazy day for me. I have China Glaze Blue Hawaiian for you today. An older polish that is a blue jelly base with holo hex glitter. I used three coats, and boy was this a pain in the rear to apply. It was pretty goopy and reeked to high heaven. But, the things we do for a “good” swatch. So onto more random news. My computer was being a little brat so I had to “reformat” it or whatever it is you do with MACs to clean out all the crap on it? I backed up all my important files, but alas, I forgot to backup over 100 pictures that were not yet edited. EFFFFFFFFF so, I will need to go through my entire stash and figure out which polishes I need to reswatch, rephotograph, and edit. *sigh* I love making more work for myself. It makes me angry so I know my emotions work. I hope all of you are having a much more delightful Tuesday!

Intersense Glam Violet

Intersense Glam Violet

Happy Friday! Thank goodness, I never thought Friday would come. It has been an incredibly taxing and long week. I swear the week drags by, and then the weekend flies by, and then I spend 5 days recuperating and then my weekend flies by again. So sad. Anyway, today I have Intersense Glam Violet. An ultra shimmer polish that’s a greyed out violet color. The name is so appropriate, that I really don’t need to say anything else. I used two coats. Speaking of nail polish, I’ve had this horrible grey creme on my nails for the past week. I had meant to slap it on and take it off after a day, then I got lazy and it ended up being on my nails for over a week now. It’s chipping and it is so embarrassing for a nail polish blogger to have nails that look like this. HAHA. Let’s just say a customer yesterday, told me my nail polish was chipped. *sigh* It’s that apparent. Alright, that’s it from me today, this horrible polish needs to come off right now, right now. Have a wonderful weekend!

China Glaze It’s A Trap-eze!

China Glaze It's A Trap-eze!

Happy Tuesday my lovely readers. I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA, I was having wordpress issues, and photo uploading issues, coupled with my going out of town for the past few days. I just got back from visiting friends up in the Bay Area, so I’m back in breezy LA, and back to the real world. Boo. So, today I have China Glaze It’s A Trap-eze! A super pretty glitter party in a milky sheer white base. I love the fact that you can get that glitter sandwich look without all the work. I’m all about efficiency and time saving!I used two coats for this swatch, and if I were to wear it out I would probably slap on another coat, just for good measure. So in other random news, my brother got into UPenn Grad! I’m so so so incredibly proud of my brother. We’re expecting to head out to the east coast in a few weeks for his undergrad graduation. It’s a pretty hectic time for me in terms of balancing work, family, and other things. I hope all of you are having a wonderful week, the weather is perfect these days so make sure to soak up some rays (not too much, we don’t want over exposure to UV rays!)

Essie Beyond Cozy

Essie Beyond Cozy

OOOOO SHINYYYYY! Essie Beyond Cozy is a silver with a hint of gold foilesque-ness to it. It’s so shiny and I think it’s rather pretty! I used two coats. Speaking of this polish, my bestie borrowed it and she still has it, so hopefully she’s actually USING it. In other random news, I started watching Modern Family and Game of Thrones this week. My life has been a whirlwind of drama. Anyone else watch Game of Thrones? I literally just started so I think I’m on episode 6 or 7 right now. After watching the show, I think I really want need a dire wolf puppy.

Zoya Gie Gie

Zoya Gie Gie

Happy Friday! TGIF. I’ve been waiting for today all week! Today I have Zoya Gie Gie, a light baby pink with pearlesque shimmer from their Spring collection 2013. I used two coats for this swatch. So, I’ve never actually met anyone named Gie Gie. I’m also assuming that it’s pronounced “Gee-Gee” and when I hear “Gee-Gee” I immediately refer to this song. In any case, this song conjures up memories of Summer church camp last year. This was our “theme” song and we had a horribly embarrassing Super awesome dance. Maybe if I can find it on my computer somewhere I will upload it, or then again maybe I won’t because all the people in the video will probably kill me. So, I’m totally confused about the name of this polish, because on the Zoya website it’s Gei Gei, and on my bottle it says Gie Gie. Eh, I’m sure we can all figure out Gei Gei and Gie Gie are one in the same! =D
